About
Tucson summers are the closest thing in the United States to Karas Mountain conditions — and they're still too hot for direct exposure. My plants live under shade cloth from May through September. The rest of the year, they sit in full sun and look better for it.
I review profiles where the question is 'how much sun is too much?' For most species in habitat-style climates, the honest answer is: less than you'd think.
