The monsoon is the central problem. Three months of warm rain would dissolve a Lithops collection if I let it. Everything I do — covered shelving, mineral substrate at 85% grit, fans for airflow — is built around that.
Outside monsoon season the climate is actually friendly to Lithops, and growth in our winter dry season is fast. I review profiles where humidity management is the deciding factor.
